Sorbus Domestica is a Mediterranean tree from the Rosacea family.658 It grows slowly over a course of 5-600 years, in high light, and roots herself in deep, thick calcareous soil.659 Its fruits are rich in tannins, sorbitol and vitamin C while its buds are viscous. In Gemmotherapy, the Sorbus Domestica buds are used.
