Corylus Avellana - Chronic bronchitis, Sclerosis
Corylus Avellana populated itself across Europe over 20,000 years ago. It seeks fertile and robust soil for its raid growth and alkalinizes an acidic terrain as it grows. There are three primary functions for the hazel bud. It is an anti-sclerotic remedy used primarily for pulmonary fibrosis to restore the elasticity lost in chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. It has a tonic action on the liver parenchyma and is used to treat hepatic insufficiencies due to hepatic sclerosis. Lastly, the Corylus Avellana bud has anti-anemic properties to restore erythropoietin and balances hypochromic and microcytic anemias. This remedy is indicated for conditions such as headaches‚ anemia‚ neurosis‚ emphysema‚ pulmonary fibrosis‚ asthma with emphysema‚ chronic bronchitis‚ cirrhosis‚ hepatic insufficiency and smoker's cough.
